Creation staged the making of the world as a spectacle: the parting of the waters, the appearance of Man, and "the momentous meeting between Adam and Eve." The Official Guide billed it as "based on the first chapter of Genesis." It was one of the earliest Zone shows built, after Thompson's Noah's Ark, the Yellowstone, the Old Red Mill and the Scenic Railway.
Todd found some of the scenes very impressive, and the imposing front drew crowds. It started at fifty cents and later came down to twenty-five. Its gross of $121,266.05 placed it thirteenth among all 455 concessions at the fair. Next door, in a theater with a plaster giant over its door, was the ill-fated Dayton Flood.
